Class Descriptions

At Free To Be Power Yoga, we teach power vinyasa, a challenging, flowing sequence of poses that wakes up your body and mind and makes you sweat! We currently offer classes in our two studios and virtually via Zoom and our on demand platform, Free To Be Everywhere!  Here’s what you can expect from our classes:

• wake you up through poses that link breath and movement
• strengthen and lengthen your muscles and spine
• stabilize your core
• open up deep muscle tissue
• rinse and detoxify your internal organs
• deep rest
• encouragement and clear directions from your teacher

This heated class is Free To Be's signature power vinyasa (flow) class based on the methodology of Baptiste Yoga. It is designed to stimulate your body and mind while improving flexibility and overall strength. In this class you can expect high energy, playfulness, and inspiration to get your body moving and clear your mind. Beginners, intermediate and advanced practitioners receive direction from the instructor to create poses that work for their individual level. This allows all practitioners to be challenged and find their own personal edge together in the same class. The room is heated between 90 and 95 degrees.

Free To Be's signature, heated flow, based on the methodology of Baptiste Yoga, set to great tunes. The playlists are designed to uplift and invigorate you, support your practice and generate a whole lot of positive vibes. Class playlists range from Hip Hop to Indie, to Jazz or Pop. Warning: spontaneous singing - and dancing - may occur :) The room is heated between 90 and 95 degrees.

Well, let's just ready for anything! This class may bring in some non traditional poses and sequencing to allow you to explore your body in a new (and deep) way. The flow will be broken down with a focus on specific areas of the body (think: hips, shoulders, chest and other tighter areas in your body). This is your opportunity to get into some poses more deeply where you’ll be encouraged to stay longer in each pose (which can be harder than it sounds!). Step into this practice for an intentional slowing down and digging deep kind of experience. The room is heated between 90 and 95 degrees.


This is a power yoga practice (all levels) combined with high intensity interval training (HIIT). You get the yoga vibes combined with a rigorous, fast-paced workout. YOD is designed to hit every aspect of your physical fitness, while creating mindfulness, and awareness of your body. It incorporates strength, flexibility, balance, power, endurance, agility and coordination. The room is heated between 85 and 90 degrees. 

  - 5-10 minute introduction to YOD and movements for the practice
  - 25-minute Free To Be All Levels Flow warm-up
  - 15-20-minute Strength and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) with music
  - 15-minute cool down with deep stretches and savasana

* Outlined times will be adjusted based on 60 and 75 minute classes


This class is designed for all levels of practitioner, and is a gentle, non-heated, and slow paced practice. Most poses are down on the ground and are held for an extended period of time (5-8 minutes each). Each pose is created with the support of props including straps, pillows, blankets and blocks to give your body access to full relaxation. Come to relax and restore. Props are provided and the room is not heated.

Never done yoga before? Can’t touch your toes? Come to this class and we’ll help! This class is designed to explore the fundamentals of a power vinyasa yoga practice based from the methodology of Baptiste Yoga and prepare you for all of the class offerings at Free To Be! The instructor will teach you proper alignment to create the form of each pose and give concrete direction that make the practice doable for any body. The class will move slowly and offer adaptations along the way. We can’t wait to see your yoga practice evolve! The room is heated between 90 and 95 degrees.

Take your practice to the next level with this challenging class. You will explore advanced variations of the poses and transitions which support in dialing up the intensity of the practice. We recommend having at least 3 classes under your belt before coming to a Level Up class.


The community style classes are taught in the same way with the same intensity. The difference is that it is open to the community at a lower price point to make yoga accessible to more people! :)
